Use gas flames for shrinking Heatshrink End Boot Caps,
otherwise shrinking takes longer.
 Heat Shrink
Stopper End Caps are manufactured as (Molded) Moulded
pre-formed shapes, semi-rigid, adhesive lined, tough
polyolefin, manufactured by cross-linking, supplied with
inner spiralled adhesive lining for excellent
environmental sealing on cable components in the field.
 Heatshrink molded Stopper Endcaps
are widely used in the Electricity utilities, and for
dismantling, demolition of substations, sealing the ends
of power cables with a super water tight seal.
Internally, it is coated with a spiralled layer of
hot-melt adhesive. Heat Shrink Stopper End Caps are
recommended for applications in open air and on
underground power distribution cables, PVC, Lead &
XPLE sheaths.
Telecommunication,
Signal, Marine & Broadband Cable TV, Trace Heating
and even Underfloor heating are other industries for
cable end boot sealing & other switch related
applications, another application; to protect young
children in playground assembly climbing areas.
 Heat
Shrink Stopper End Caps are unaffected by UV light with
good chemical, solvent & highly abrasion resistance
due to its thick wall thicknesses after full recovery.
Operating
temperature range : -55°C
to +110°C. However,
the hot-melt will soften and flow temperature of adhesive
is around +85°C,
greater than this temperature and the heat shrink stopper
end cap might slip off, but the actual heat shrink
stopper end cap will successfully operate at +110°C continuously.
Colours :
-0, Black only. Size range 11/5mm up to largest size is
now *200/90mm.

looking for a moulded heatshrink stopper end caps that
heatshrinks less than 4.5mm, then we have an alternative
heatshrinkable molded end cap that will heat shrink down
to 2.8mm (0.11 inch) with wall thicknesses starting from
0.25mm climbing to 0.50mm, operating temp -200°C to
+200°C, sorry no
samples, to order
only, lead times approx 4-5 weeks from receipt of
purchase order. These heatshrinkable end caps can be
supplied rounded or in flattened format. We can supply
any length possible up to 2000mm and probably beyond
flattened or dome tipped. ID sizes 2.8mm upto 15mm.
Minimum quantity is 2,000 off.

for heat shrink tubing and/or heat shrink end caps, as
