Various heat shrink tubing with cloth fabric heatshrink tubing

Heatshrink tubing (also known as heat shrink), a tubing with a thermal memory that shrinks in diameter when thermal heat is applied and should stay within set tolerances longitudinally (horizontally) when the correct temperature is applied to the heat shrink. As the diameter shrinks the wall thickness does the opposite and starts to increase. Polyolefin heat shrink tubing shrinks at +135°C, so does dual wall polyolefin heat shrink tubing, where as PVDF or Kynar starts to shrink at +175°C, & PTFE will commence shrinking at temperatures greater than +327°C.

By employing the correct temperature settings on your heat-gun, burning of the jacket sleeve is removed.

Heat shrink tube is used as a jointing insulation for solderings, can also be used for LV low voltage, MV medium voltage and HV high voltage busbar insulation, repairing wires, on cable harnesses, military and defense applications, wiring harnessing and general tidying up products.

2:1 Elastomer Heat shrink tubing - Operating temperature -75°C to +150°C

2:1 Fluoro-Elastomer Heat shrink tubing, Operating temperature EMS8 -55°C to +200°C & EMS8A -55°C to +220°C

2:1 Zero-halogen free, polyolefin, flame retardant, heat shrink tubing, Colours: Black, Clear. Operating temperature -30°C to +125°C
