Dual thin wall semi-flexible heatshrink polyolefin,

The term DUAL WALL is .

. . a double insulation environmental sealing component, an outer walled material of cross linked polyolefin, supplied with an inner wall extrusion of adhesive (glue) and/or mastic lining which produces an environmental seal. It comes in many characteristics, either thin wall, medium wall or heavy ((Thick)) walled, 3:1, 4:1 or even
6:1 shrink ratios supplying more scope for insulation of your components..

Single wall heat shrinks will provide certain protection of components, but dual walled materials provides sustained environmental sealing for your application. If you require temperatures of higher than 100°C, say up to 200°C then please do contact us as we have a solution.

These heat shrinkable tubings provide superb environmental protection. Moisture-proof products that are ideal for protecting cable splices, electrical, electro and mechanical components that are exposed to the elements. These products have a high expansion ratio which allows components to be sealed directly to cables and wires, except for our EDW 2
which will fill voids, but will not bond direct to substrates, cables or metal substrates, it is a
void filler only. As the various products are heated to their respective correct shrink temperatures, the tubings begins to shrink down to their recovered thermal memory parameters, the adhesive lining will flow to seal and encapsulate electrical/electronic components or splices contained within, thus producing a superb excellent water tight environmental seal.

Operating Temperature : -55 to 110°C. UL/CSA. Adhesive lined 3:1 semi-flexible, flame retardant.

EDW2 Operating Temperature : -55 to 110°C. Void filler 3:1 semi-rigid void filler.

EDW4
Operating Temperature : -55 to 110°C. UL/CSA. 4:1 flexible flame retardant.

Premium Medium to Heavy wall polyolefin

EDW9
Operating Temperature : -55 to 105°C. Adhesive or Mastic lined, 3:1 semi-flexible, medium wall.

EDW10
Operating Temperature : -55 to 105°C. Adhesive or Mastic lined, 3:1 semi-rigid, heavy wall.

EDW11
Operating Temperature : -55 to 110°C. Adhesive lined, 6:1 shrink ratio, heavy wall.

EDW12
For Broadband CATV industries, supplied with external coating of indicative paint ensuring correct heat required
to shrink material to produce error free installation without splitting and ensuring integrity of seal.
