PTFE
is different from other known plastics, it can operate at high temperatures & extreme low temperatures than most polymers around today. It is resistant to all known acids & virtually all alkalis. PTFE is one of the worlds best known electrical insulators & has the lowest co-efficient of friction of any solid known to man with the benefit of being non-stick.

We offer a variety of high temperature spaghetti sleeving & spagetti tubings in as it is commonly known is available in a types & wall thicknesses. These materials have excellent chemical weather resistance & low friction which gives fluoroplastic tubings very unique properties. They are extremely stable at high temperatures & can be used continuously at -70 to 260°C. PTFE is one of the few polymers that retains a measure of toughness & strength even at cryogenic temperatures. PTFE is virtually inert to all chemicals, solvent resistance : organic solvents do not attack or dissolve, although some penetration may occur as a result of both absorption and diffusion. PTFE has an extremely low co-efficient of friction & has excellent nonstick properties preventing the build-up of sediments. Weathering : PTFE is extremely hydrophobic & sheds water almost totally.


Flammability : Non-flammable. The melting point peaks at 350°C.
Operating temperature ranges for all tubing & sleevings listed below range from : -70 to 260°C


Applications : Sheathing thermometers for heated acid baths, transformers, insulating ignition wires, temperature sensors, wire connections, terminals in electrical appliances, hazardous conditions, domestic irons, gas boilers, providing low friction wear surfaces for aerospace/automotive applications, provides a sterile conduit for use in medical devices, hydraulic pipes, aeroplanes, protecting rubber gaskets for use in highly corrosive conditions and the list goes on....
