is extremely
hydrophobic & extremely stable at high
temperatures of -70°C to +260°C These polymers retain their
toughness & strength at sub zero temperatures
makes them an ideal material for outer space
technology and understandable for Audio lead
wires which enhances the audio equipment. PTFE is almost unaffected by Ozone,
Oxygen or UV light & has no aging properties.
PTFEPolyTetraFluoroEthylene has an extremely low
co-efficiency of friction with superb non stick
properties.
These materials have an outstandingly High
dielectric strength of 50kV - 80kV/mm with a very high
degree of high volume and surface resistivity.

SBC: PTFE Smooth Bore tubing: It looks
like a tubing, visibly it is like-no-other PTFE corugated conduit around. SBC has ultra tight convolutions,
allows ease insertion of wires and cables and has
excellent MBR (Minimum Bend Radius) of 19mm (3/4
inch). Kink resistant convoluted conduit,
chemical inertness, solvent resistant,
hydrophobic, anti-aging, non-flammable with
unique electrical properties. One area could be
antennae wire/cable insertion systems.
