"ERDW" is a dual wall adhesive lined heat shrinkable wraparound sleeve incorporated with a flexible stainless steel locking channel. It is used for general re-jacketing & sealing applications protecting of damaged cables and can be used as an outer jacket on XLPE Cu Telecomms cable joints from 10 to 2,000 pair cables.


The benefits for this special type of heatshrink strip sleeves are :-

1. To provide a water tight environmental seal upon recovery.
2. Has an excellent mechanical strength.
3. The application is swift, clean and simple to use, (using flame gun application only).
4. Covered with thermo-chromatic paint it changes colour indicating correct shrink temperature achieved.
5. The sleeve can be cut to suit shorter applications.
6. The stainless steel channel provides permament closure system.
7. Can be installed without the need to disconnect from distribution points on power distribution.
8. Installation temperature range : -15 to 45°C
9. Dielectric strength : 12kV/mm
